Tai Thanh Nguyen, 47 of Bloomington passed away at 11:06 AM on Wednesday February 15, 2017 at his residence. There will be a visitation Saturday February 18, 2017 from 9 AM to 3 PM at Beck Memorial Home in Bloomington. Tai was born August 10, 1969 in Saigon, Vietnam. He married Truc Ly on May 14, 2002 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She survives and resides in Bloomington. He is also survived by his mother Chau Tran of Bloomington, two children, Tyler and Timmy Nguyen at home, and one brother and one sister in Vietnam. Tai was a chef at Grand Café Restaurant in Bloomington. He loved his children and especially enjoyed cooking for them.
